Sheffield Park Farm was, aptly enough, originally owned by John Baker-Holroyd, 1st Earl of Sheffield. An English politician who came from a wealthy Yorkshire family, he was a great authority on farming and during his lifetime he created several “Model Farms” to train and educate “labourers” in the skills of productive husbandry and land management. Belle and Wilde’s Bakery is situated on one of these farms and we like to think of ourselves as continuing Baker-Holroyd’s commitment to training and education through the development of our team of passionate young bakers.

Small, but perfectly formed, our bakery at Sheffield Park Farm in the East Sussex countryside is both the creative hub and manufacturing base of Belle and Wilde. Populated by passionate artisans, under the guidance of Operations Manager Alex Whelpton and Development Manager Annabelle Akdeniz, we are proud to be producing the very finest baked products in a totally gluten-free environment.

Handled with care

Our artisanal bakes are created in small batches that use a combination of modern food technology, knowledge and experience, and respect for our specially chosen ingredients. It’s these tried and tested processes that allow us to say with confidence that our luxury bakes taste delicious, with no compromise – every time.

From bread and brownies to toasts and toppings, all our creations are gluten-free, wheat-free and made with fresh, natural ingredients and no preservatives – making them deliciously different!
